In the year 1997, the same year my younger sister was born, my family moved into


a 15 year old duplex two blocks from the beach. For ten years, we lived in that


house. It turned me, and all of my friends, into true believers of ghosts.











I had a lot of ghostly experiences from the day


we moved in. That night, we received news that


my great grandmother had passed away. My


mom stayed up late with my dad crying. At about


three o%26#039;clock in the morning, they heard music


coming from my bedroom. They went downstairs


to check on me and found me fast asleep.


However, the music box of great grandmother


was sitting on my desk, and it was playing. As


soon as my parents entered the room, it stopped.











Years later, I began to see apparitions of a young girl in an orange sweater and


skirt, wearing black shoes that buckled. She appeared to have freckles, long


brown hair, and was slightly transparent.











Another ghostly encounter I had in that room was when I was


sitting on my bed and felt a sharp tug on my hair, and my head


jerked back. I had many dreams about the girl, who I decided to


call Riel, and in one dream she was lying on the floor bleeding


from her head. When I awoke, I found her standing at the foot of


my bed. On my thirteenth birthday, I had some friends over for


the night. We all slept in my bedroom. I noticed that one of my


friends seemed slightly agitated. When I asked her about it, she


denied it, but at school the next week she told me she had seen


a young girl while in my bedroom. The girl had stared at my


friend for quite some time before disappearing.





I have had many more frightening encounters in that house, and


if I had the time, I would write them.

i could believe that i guess. i have a friend who lives in a house that a man committed suicide in. the TV%26#039;s go off and on when no one is around, the attic door opens and shuts on its own, she won%26#039;t even sleep in her own room she%26#039;s so freaked out. my g-ma%26#039;s house is haunted by like my great grandfather or something, she%26#039;s heard him walking on the stairs coming in from the barn even when everyone is in bed asleep except her.
Reply:I believe you, I%26#039;ve had experiences my whole life. I live in a house right now where I have seen a girl, about 10 years old I would guess, in a white vintage dress with light blue ribbon edging. I never said anything about seeing her. Several months ago, my daughter kept complaining of being scared in her room. She finally told me, although she was afraid I would think she was lying, that she had been seeing a little girl in her room. She described the girl I had been seeing. A friend of my husband later told me in July he saw her outside in our yard. He had no knowledge of the ghost, we never told him. He described her exactly the same way. I could write a book about all of the things that have happened to me.
Reply:umm... have u seen a haunting? its on discovery channel every day at 3 in the afternoon. submit ur story and they can tell u if its real or not. then, they can re-inact that story with actors and actresses for ur story to be on a haunting. but sometimes the stories on a haunting r plain fake. i%26#039;m not sure if i believe in ghosts but u seem serious, so submit ur story! check it out on discoverychannel.com or something!

Reply:Our friend and neighbor of hispanic decent recently passed away- a small group had gathered in his apartment and were quietly listening to some old rock on the radio- the signal suddenly went dead and moments later came back-loudly, I might add, playing a hispanic style of music- this lasted a couple minutes, the signal went dead again, then resumed the quiet rock- All that were present are sure it was our friends way of making contact from the other side- I believe your story!!!
Reply:I believe you. I have never had any ghostly experiences but my friend has had a few... and when she tells me about them she%26#039;s really freaked out which makes me know that they%26#039;re true because she doesn%26#039;t really freak out about anything else.





Also, my sister told me a story about her friend%26#039;s friend, who%26#039;s dad passed away. Every night, the door to her friend%26#039;s room would open, something would brush her shoulder, and then the door would close.

Reply:I do believe this story. Have you tried telling the girl ghost to go to the light? It%26#039;s sad that she is stuck here when she could cross over to heaven and be happy.
Reply:my mom had this show on onetime about these people who lived in a duplex that when it burned down the flames made the devils symbol... and after that they rebuilt it and the next family to move in was haunted... and then it followed them till they got an exersium... so now i know... im never going to live in a duplex! and if i were u i would have slept out side in a tent forever....

maybe your friend - the girl - was going to have some really bad trouble on the way.... really REALLY bad trouble!
