What is an Egyptian Pilgrim?

I get an image of king tut in big buckle shoes and a funny hat!

My granddaughter%26#039;s teacher told her she is Egyptian and a Pilgrim. I thought she was making the comparison about early American pilgrims so the children would understand immigration. But when I looked it up on the internet (trying to find a funny picture) what I found suggests that Egyptian Pilgrims might be part of a religion. Does anyone know?

What is an Egyptian Pilgrim?
She is an Egyptian and a Muslim who has done pilgrimage. i.e. a muslim who has done this sacred muslims%26#039; ritual.

They are called (before their first name) Haj or Hag for a man, Haja or Haga for a woman, this is considered as a title added to someone who has done this pilgrimage. It also adds sense of pride to the muslim who have done it.
Reply:you are right a Pilgrim is part of islamic religion when Muslims go to Meca they are doing religious deeds . I am Egyptian. I do not know the picture you are speaking about if you .
