I love being original - can you give me any more original styles for highschool?

dress code:


BLOUSE


- button up dress shirt with pointed collar,


long sleeve or to elbow; cotton


- females: button at neck may be unbuttoned


but the shirt must be tucked in


SWEATER (optional)


- v-neck, crew neck, cardigan


- vest or long sleeves


- no hoods, sweatshirts, fleeces


PANTS


- black/navy/tan(khaki)


- no slits at shoe level, rivets, or patch pockets


- worn with regular belt, no chains or large buckles


SHOES


- neutral dress shoes, heel no more than 2 inches


- no backless shoes or sneakers


JEWELRY


- no more than 3 earrings per ear


- no visible body piercings or tattoos


SKIRTS


- modestly styled navy, black, and tan (khaki) skirts,


- length: 2 inches above knee to just below knee


HATS


- no head covering is allowed during the school day





I have some ideas so far:


- TIES as HEADSCARFS


- WIDE BELTS worn at WAIST


- plaid!! round toe pumps!


- BOY BLOUSES like this

hmm...try to find bright and colorful shirts with different patterns on them. Also get a bunch of really bright flats or low wedges. Try and wear dark pencil skirts and stuff. They always look really nice on most people. Or find longer skirts, that aren%26#039;t as common as others. It kind of pushes the limit, but is still in there.





Get some really cool jewelry. If that%26#039;s something no one else has, it makes your outfit seem different.





What do y%26#039;all do when it%26#039;s hot?? I mean at my school, we barely survive in our t shirts at the end of the year. But then again, Southern weather is killer.
Reply:Get a some cute flats. With bows and stuff. Also get some bangles and boho neckalces. And my favorite to dress up and outfit are headands! Oh and dont forget funky nail polish and a cute purse!

if i were u i would buy a whole bunch of diff colored stuff and put random designs on the shirts and jackets.

Reply:babe,to be original u got to be original..but since your school-U is a must, try accesorises. bold plastic bangle, dangling earring, or sumthing. NEVER over-do it!remember,less is more. but,most important iz, be confident in whatever u wearing.





i like your ideas too.try to mix style..that%26#039;s what i do.i mix rock-chic-style with ladies-womanly-stuff..and it%26#039;s a trend in my school now! =)

shop at consignment stores for some unique accsessories and shoes. i don%26#039;t know if you can wear tights, but if so, find some funky patterned ones and play around with them.
